This game will be a game of Offense versus Defense. Ateneo is the better attacking team while UST is the better blocking team.

UST
Strengths: Better setter in Dimaculangan. Her setting will allow Maizo, Ortiz, Tunay and Lastimosa to deliver attack points. Better Blocking. Ortiz (3rd) and De Leon (10) are both in the top ten best blockers of the league and if they do their jobs well, they may be enough to slow down Ateneo's attackers.

Bualee, Valdez and Daquis have to work hard on blocking since they can't rely on Tejada, Patnongon or Tajima who displayed very poor blocking skills in their last game. The three girls were too slow.
