Pau Soriano: The Silent Killer

While most of the volleyball world is grieving about the loss of Ateneo's Fab Five, there is also one player who will no longer be playing in next year's season: the very soft-spoken and under-rated Ma. Paulina Soriano of the Adamson Lady Falcons.

In a league reigned over by superstar open-hitters like Valdez and Galang, this middle silently but consistently led her team to some awesome victories. Although she might not be the most showy among the league's fierce attackers, she is still a formidable spiker.

For the loyal Adamson fans and to all UAAP fans in general, she is an enormous loss. We will never see her strong attacks in the middle nor her powerful blocking anymore in the UAAP.
