Dindin Santiago made sure her team will still have a chance for the finals by firing 27 amazing points coming from 18 kills, 5 blocks and 4 aces. Wow. She sure is running for MVP. The Lady Bulldogs gave the Falcons a taste of defeat through five amazingly well-fought sets, 20-25, 25-21, 24-26, 25-21 and 15-12.
Thousands of fans were raving about Pau Soriano especially in the last part of the third set. Angela Benting was not as deadly as she was two days ago. Instead, it was Pineda who seemed really pumped up in the game. Credit also the Falcons' amazing floor defense in order to give a good fight.
Again, errors almost ended the Lady Bulldog's journey to the finals but they were able to gain composure especially in the fifth set relying of course on their attackers, D. Santiago, Pablo, Urdas and J. Santiago facilitated by their superstar setter Rubie de Leon.
The third game will be held again in the Philsports Arena (Ultra) on Sunday.
